Introduction to Relax and Recover (ReaR), the standard tool for Linux disaster recovery / bare metal restore.
In this talk Schlomo gives an introduction into ReaR, going over the design concepts, installation, basic usage and configuration and also provides some insights into the Open Source project status after 18 years of continuous development.

We are grateful to the Linux Foundation for giving us the opportunity to present Relax-and-Recover at LinuxCon Europe 2011 in Prague, CZ. The session included a broad overview of the design and functionality that Relax-and-Recover offers, real-life use-cases and a live demonstration of using Relax-and-Recover with USB boot media.
