After a successful recovery and reboot, fedora wants to relabel the filesystems due to the SElinux label (/selinux.autorelabel), but it fails over the vfat file system /boot/efi:

From the man page of fixfiles I find the following sentence quite promising:
The file /etc/selinux/fixfiles_exclude_dirs can contain a list of directories excluded from relabelling.
