• rear version (/usr/sbin/rear -V): 1.17.2
• OS version (cat /etc/rear/os.conf or lsb_release -a): RHEL6
• rear configuration files (cat /etc/rear/site.conf or cat /etc/rear/local.conf):

OUTPUT=ISO
BACKUP=RSYNC
BACKUP_URL=rsync://rear@ReaR_Host/var/lib/rear

• Brief description of the issue: see mail thread http://pikachu.3ti.be/pipermail/rear-users/2016-June/003349.html
• Work-around, if any: add --relative option the rsync during backup (only)
