@procurve86 could you give some more info around the devices in use, e.g. /dev/sdu1? Are these by accident Oracle ASM devices?
procurve86 commented at 2016-06-30 06:30:¶
Hi gdha
thank you for your quick reply.
These are multipath devices on a san storage and the filesystem is
ext4.
Is it possible to exclude these devices or generally exclude mpath
devices?
best regards
daniel

Could you run the following rear -vD savelayout
? Must see the
debugging to have a better insight.

gdha commented at 2016-06-30 10:16:¶
@procurve86 The problem is you have a syntax error in you local.conf
as seen in the dump:
++ NETFS_URL=nfs://10.1.30.20/u02/rear_backups
/etc/rear/local.conf: line 6: unexpected EOF while looking for matching `''
/etc/rear/local.conf: line 7: syntax error: unexpected end of fil
You missed a ' in BACKUP_PROG_EXCLUDE
.
PS: remember - rear is sourcing the config files and therefore treat
these a bash scripts content as well

dear gdha
